An invitation to Discover Colombia Through Its Heart
Sept 04--What is the heart of Colombia?
People in the Washington, D.C. and New York City areas will have a chance to explore possible answers to that question this month, when the Discover Colombia Through Its Heart exhibition visits those two cities.
Most likely, they will discover that Colombia beats with many hearts, which is why the exhibit will feature 47 different heart sculptures. Seven of the hearts are 13-feet tall and will offer visitors interactive experiences, such as listening to Colombian music, viewing scenes of Colombia, and learning about Colombia’s most famous residents. One heart even takes the form of an Internet café, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the country while enjoying a complimentary cup of Colombia’s world-famous coffee.
