Priests killed

So far this year, in Colombia have been killed 6 priests. The last case occurred on Monday in the department of Chocó, where the priest Gualberto Arrieta Oviedo was killed. His body was found at his home. After the killing, Juan Vicente Cordoba, General Secretary of the Episcopacy, has asked the authorities to protect priests who have done nothing but to compromise with "the prophetic denunciation of injustice and to the cause of the poorest in the country ".
